PROCUREMENT CHECKLIST
An existing model or a new development?
The right starting point depends on how closely an available reference matches your garment. A change in colour is different from a change in cup geometry.
Compare an existing reference first
Share the reference model and the garment specification. Ask which sizes, colours and material combinations are available for that model. An existing listing does not mean every combination is currently in stock.
Describe what needs to change
Separate shape, dimensions, thickness, layers, colour and attachment requirements. List the non-negotiable details and the details that may be adjusted after sampling.
Confirm tooling and sampling conditions
Whether a new mould is needed, who owns it, the development scope, sample fees, revisions and timing must be assessed for the actual project. Do not treat another supplier’s process or cycle as a CUPNORA promise.
Approve a defined sample
Record the approved dimensions, materials, colour reference and attachment method together with the sample revision. Confirm bulk conditions only against the agreed specification.
